Drive along towering Pindan Cliffs

Our morning tour departs from Cape Leveque turn-off along sealed and unsealed roads, with a breathtaking drive along the vibrant red pindan cliffs, overlooking the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Between July and September don’t be surprised to see humpbacks just off shore, on their migratory journey.

Early morning, low tide

The colours of the Kimberley come alive in the early morning light. Along the way we fish at resting pools using traditional fishing methods to catch the elusive Mangrove Jack or Barramundi, while sharing stories of how Traditional Owners lived on Saltwater Country.

Mangrove & bushfood foraging

We explore the mangroves at low tide. An important part of a healthy Country, they provide shelter, food and a nursery to marine life. This unique ecosystem is teeming with life and was central to the traditional hunter-gather lifestyle of  Jaden’s ancestors.

Billie Tea and a seafood feast

We finish the tour at a sheltered campsite where we cook up the day's catch and enjoy cold drinks and freshly made sandwiches over lunch while Jaden and his team tell stories of the on-country history and culture of the Jabirr Jabirr mob.
